Mosser Dome Prospect, Montana
First Star acquired a 50% working interest in five infield wells to be drilled in the Mosser Dome and Blue Ridge fields, located in Yellowstone County, Montana. Under the terms of the participation agreement, First Star agrees to pay $50,000 per well for the first two wells drilled on the property and $75,000 per well on the next three wells on leased lands totalling 1,040 acres. read more...

Stewart Prospect, Goliad County, Texas
In April 2005, the Company acquired a 10% working interest in the Stewart property, a middle Yegua prospect in Goliad County having three or four high quality locations on a 272 acre lease. This prospect is situated within the Jobar field, which produces from the middle Yegua formation from 5,200 feet to 5,400 feet in a normal pressured regime. The prospect was initially defined by five 2D seismic lines. A 3D seismic program was recently purchased by the syndicate which will help guide development of the prospect ensuring the highest probability of success. Manahuilla Creek , Texas
First Star has acquired a 10% participating interest to earn a 7.5% working interest in the Manahuilla Creek oil and gas exploration project. A 6,700-foot test well will be drilled on approximately 1,265 contiguous acres of oil and gas leases covering the expanded Yegua trend. The Middle Eocene sands of the expanded Yegua trend of the onshore Gulf Coast basin have been a prolific over pressured gas-condensate producer with total gas production to date exceeding 800 billion cubic feet.
